THOMAS CAMPBELL TAIT
It is with profound sadness that we as a family announce the sudden passing of our beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, and PaPa, due to complications with COPD.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Pat, caring sons Scott (Cindy), and Cameron (Sandi) and loving daughter Kathy. Tom also leaves four grandchildren, Tamara, Amber, Brennan, and Madison. As well as seven great-grandchildren, Bentley, Aaliyah, Savannah, Jamie, Nolan, Jade, and Jillian. As well as his special niece Trish Tait.
Tom is predeceased by his father, mother, brother Bill, and sister Anne.
Tom and Pat celebrated their 60- year wedding anniversary in August of 2025, with a beautiful family event at their cottage.
Tom was an RIA and a CPA, receiving his designation in January 1972. Tom worked for TransAir, Air Canada, and the Federal Government, retiring in 1996.
He dedicated many years to the Bannatyne Beaver, Cub and Scout Group.
Tom’s woodworking skills were exemplary, which he gifted to family and friends for many many years.
Tom’s desires to honour and serve his family were always EVIDENT in his THOUGHTS, WORDS, and DEEDS.
There will be a family gathering at a later date.

The Tait family lived across the street from our family on Harcourt many years ago. I remember well the good times shared by our families. I am grateful for fond memories. Rest easy Tommy. Jim Walker (Jr) - Posted by: Jim Walker (Friend) on: Mar 23, 2026
